Moore or less, no Strange

Moore or less, no Strange

In Alabama, campaigns and elections are typically nasty and tawdry. The series of special elections to fill the US Senate seat vacated by now Attorney General Jeff Sessions would seem to follow suit with no shortage of smears and attack ads. But despite super funding, the establishment may very well lose. And President Trump may learn the limits of his star power.

Wall in Congress and the Dreamers

Wall in Congress and the Dreamers

Once again President Trump is being unfairly maligned for facing another prickly issue our government has refused to adequately address and certainly failed to resolve. Congress has been kicking the illegal immigration can down the road and across borders for decades. They have passed laws only to be ignored, watched millions invade illegally, and bickered endlessly. The failure to enforce laws and absence of a functioning immigration system has only caused widespread unfairness. Is America a nation of laws or what? That’s really the crux of this problem, but it gets lost in hateful manipulative rhetoric.

Will Congress disappoint Americans again?

Will Congress disappoint Americans again?

At a huge rally in Missouri, President Trump refocused his domestic agenda with tax cuts as the top priority. After Senator John McCain sabotaged his and his Party’s seven year promise to repeal ObamaCare, it was probably prudent to give them a task they should be able to handle. With their dismal track record unable to get Trump’s appointees approved with any timeliness or even fund a border wall, Trump pointedly warned Congress “not to disappoint him.” With Republican majorities in both houses, tax cuts should be a no brainer.

Creator can always eclipse chaos

Creator can always eclipse chaos

It seems Americans have become mired in endless angst and turmoil as the media incessantly pumps out torrents of fake news about how everyone is offended, oppressed, or victimized by everyone else. If you believe the flood of silly news, we all hate each other so much the American experiment has failed. We should all self-segregate into our assigned identity politics corners and never speak to each other again. It’s hopeless; or is it? Well, a funny thing happened on the way to the total eclipse of the sun.

Sanitizing history and free speech will sterilize the nation

Sanitizing history and free speech will sterilize the nation

Does anyone really want to refight the Civil War?! The vast majority of Americans consider such a proposition preposterous, but a tiny fraction of extremists from all corners crave any form of civil war. Hating the Republic, extremists pursue any violent vehicle that could collapse our government and recast it into any one of their demented versions of dystopia. And even more dangerous, unscrupulous elite power brokers greedily watch how they can exploit the turmoil. The left/right paradigm is inadequate, but we must all realize regardless of labels these radical groups are all striving for tyrannical dictatorships.

American culture has no color

American culture has no color

Race has been an intense issue throughout American history. Race relations have ebbed and flowed over the centuries with no discernible point of being unconditionally good. Despite notable highlights of personal success, blanket success for black Americans as a whole has been elusive. Perennial poverty and under performance in the black community is a complicated and sometimes convoluted debate with little progress. Numerous factors and perspectives have some degree of validity, but it seems any discussion about race inevitably looks backward and not forward. All sides tend to dwell on the negatives such that healing old wounds is virtually impossible.

Imagine if Trump only had a party

Imagine if Trump only had a party

The ceaseless cacophony created by media constantly hawking mostly fake news and politicians incessantly bickering and posturing but accomplishing nothing is tiresome and excruciatingly tedious. But they have a purpose. We are being inundated with a daunting daily din of hollow high anxiety that quickly evaporates without substance to annoy and anger Americans to the point of exhaustion, numbness, and resignation of inescapable futility. Both Party establishments do NOT want change! Tussling between themselves, they’ve consolidated tremendous power in Washington. Democrats and Republicans are content tugging on the federal leviathan as long as the power stays in elite hands.

Not a ban, Trump ends special treatment

Not a ban, Trump ends special treatment

President Trump’s ubiquitous tweets can be amusing or annoying but almost always attention grabbing. And wow, his tweet ending transgender military service blew up the Twittersphere. Liberals and LGBTQ activists ran screaming into the night as if Trump had sentenced transgenders to death like some backward Islamic nation. The military’s absolute primary mission is to defend this country wherever that might be required. Anything that detracts or even distracts from that mission is extraneous, unhelpful, and certainly unnecessary. Serving to protect our country can be very dangerous, so troops must have clear unambiguous direction and unmolested laser focus on their missions.

Teen Vogue turns Teen Vice

Teen Vogue turns Teen Vice

The issue herein is so absurd, astounding, and morally offensive; it’s hard to believe such vile perverted propaganda is being catered to our children. Before delving into the lurid details, what is Teen Vogue? Initially, Teen Vogue was exactly that; a teenage version of fashion tips average people don’t or won’t use and lifestyle ideas from kooky celebrities. With declining sales in 2015, they added politics and current affairs to stimulate readership with activism. But sex always sells, so they amped up their sex advice column for minors! It’s unbelievable; you just have to read it.

Discourse of disdain and disgust

Discourse of disdain and disgust

Civil discourse is an endangered species. There’ve always been pointed vehement disagreements, but perhaps not since the Civil War era has national politics been so aggressively antagonistic and vitriolic. When two main factions brewed with distinctly divergent visions, irreconcilable differences boiled over into outright schism and open warfare. With more factions today, two competing ideologies on how to govern our republic are in constant bitter debate: liberal unlimited government socialism and conservative limited government capitalism. But a troubling trend George Washington warned about is poisoning the body politic – hyper-partisanship.

ANTIFA and G20 versus Poland

ANTIFA and G20 versus Poland

For all the criticism for a supposedly dysfunctional White House, Trump visiting Poland on his way to the G20 summit was pure genius! The media barely covered exuberant Poles cheering our President and even chanting “Donald Trump!” Warsaw wholeheartedly embraced his powerful message of perseverance and sacrifice for freedom. Mostly because Poland has lived it! Poland is perhaps the best recent example of a God fearing hard working people struggling to secure FREEDOM! The stark juxtaposition of proud stoic Poland against morally bankrupt European Union leaders and immoral cowards rioting in the opulent streets of a decaying society was irresistible.

Too many Americans confused about America

Too many Americans confused about America

Without a doubt America is the greatest nation on the planet, and the most incredible country in all of human history. However, on the 241st anniversary of our founding too many Americans are confused about our founding principles, our republic, and our rights. The idea of America has become an amorphous malleable ungrounded concept that makes “American Exceptionalism” seem like just a cheap slogan. But the founding of the United States was HUGE! Not since the Israelites entered the promise land was a nation founded on the premise man was created to be free by God. The Declaration of Independence enshrined this crucially vital principle.

Did Zuckerberg advocate communism?

Did Zuckerberg advocate communism?

Late spring every year we hear a wide variety of commencement speeches as celebrities, notable politicians, and the captains of industry head to colleges and universities to inspire the new graduates or sometimes just to get publicity. Some are quite insightful, but some are awkward like Hillary Clinton at Wellesley College preaching integrity, respect, and trust. Others amusing and downright silly like Will Ferrell at the USC. A few are intriguing and disconcerting like Mark Zuckerberg who returned to Harvard University to deliver this year’s commencement speech. Is he just a techno nerd hopelessly naïve about human nature, or a beguiling narcissistic tyrant in the making?

The right shuns extremists; the left feeds them

The right shuns extremists; the left feeds them

The cold calculated merciless attack on Congressional Republicans, their families, and staffers while practicing for a charity baseball game is the most momentous assassination attempt since a wild eyed John Hinckley shot President Ronald Reagan. Make no mistake and do not underestimate; the liberal loon from Illinois was seeking a change in government by assassination.

Comey

Comey's circus of clowns and contortionists

What a circus!!! The world’s biggest baby! Clowns galore! If senile Senators don’t get a laugh, the media is hilarious in their frenetic and still often fake reporting. And finally, the most agile and even chameleon like contortionist performing breathtaking feats of ethical gymnastics high above the ring without a moral compass! Washington and much of the nation was frozen in suspense as bars across the country opened for liberals and snowflakes to congregate jovially sipping cocktails with irrepressible hope that finally the tyrant Trump would be vanquished!

Trump saves America from climate con

Trump saves America from climate con

The Bible explains no one can know when the world will end, but with Trump’s courageous withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement, liberals are certain the countdown has begun and the earth will be fried to a crisp before Al Gore can update the lies in his ludicrous movie, An Inconvenient Truth. The left from millennials to baby boomer hippies to Hollywood to every Democrat hack to the liberal media to EU leaders to global business titans to the Pope are purely apoplectic! The more liberals blow white wine through their noses and choke on Brie you know Trump is making real progress.

Unarmed for global Holy War

Unarmed for global Holy War

It’s another gruesome scene that has become all too common; bodies of unsuspecting innocents bloodied and broken by a crude bomb carried by yet another barbarian Jihadist are callously scattered about Manchester arena. It was supposed to be a celebration of youthful music in the ostensibly safe havens of a great city in the heart of peaceful and tolerant multiculturalism. In another burst of the same brutality, this attack was all the more heinous because it very specifically targeted children and their families.

President without a party

President without a party

The American people elected Trump to drain the swamp, but the Republican Party has swindled the American voters. They went along to get a Republican president, but now that that president is constantly and viciously attacked by Democrats and unjustly maligned daily by a corrupt media; they leave Trump to drown alone in the swamp.

Skimming the swamp

Skimming the swamp

Please remain calm. The obnoxious cacophony created by District of Columbia swamp creatures as they get sucked toward the drain can be quite disconcerting. There is great thrashing as they flip flop positions and much gnashing of teeth as they desperately try not to choke on their hypocrisy. One hopes these episodes are short lived, but sadly no. Democrats cannot afford and will NOT tolerate even a scintilla of Trump success. The sole Democrat strategy is to resist everything Trump and if possible, destroy anything Trump.

Respect for Motherhood starts with women

Respect for Motherhood starts with women

Of course, everyone loves their Mother and if you love her, you probably respect her. And boy, do Mothers deserve the utmost respect; especially if they are doing everything it takes to raise a child well. Despite the obligatory cards and flowers every Mother’s Day, Motherhood has been taking quite a hit for decades now. However, much of the disrespect for Motherhood comes from women and dissatisfaction from Mothers themselves. A Mother is God’s chosen vessel to usher new life into being. What is more noble and important than giving life?

What good are Republicans?

What good are Republicans?

Really?! What good are Republicans? When in the minority, they were pathetically ineffective. With Republicans routinely caving to Obama and pretty much funding his every whim, you could barely tell Republicans took the House unless Coppertone John Boehner started crying. And speaking of a GOP Congress funding Obama’s assorted largesse, guess what?! Republicans are STILL funding Obama’s programs! Obamacare, sanctuary cities, refugee resettlement, and Planned Parenthood are all STILL funded by a GOP Congress. Guess what’s NOT funded?! The border wall! The much needed restoration of our weakened military!

Français les morts ambulants

Français les morts ambulants

The Eurozone is on edge! Europeans held their breath as millions of French citizens filed into polling stations under heavy guard by thousands of Gendarmes in the first national election during a state of emergency. The sixth Muslim terror attack on Paris in two years precipitated extraordinary security. With Islamic violence occurring about weekly, it seems more an ordinary state of abnormal danger, but the French were not dissuaded from voting in their highly prized secular republic. However, the threat of more Jihadist terror was not the cause of high anxiety on the continent. The Drudge Report blared “Le Pen, Le Panique!”

Trump’s shot heard around the world

Trump’s shot heard around the world

Since President Trump’s election upset, America has been obsessed and consumed with itself. Liberals are irrationally panicking Trump will undo Obama’s legacy and conservatives are fervently praying he will. With Trump’s promised “America First” credo, it’s no surprise we would be fixated on domestic issues. So with problems aplenty looming at home, Americans were startled by Trump’s swift missile attack in Syria. Trump claims it was a onetime strike if Syria will behave. But on the international stage, Trump sent a deafening message. Unlike his predecessor, Trump smashed Obama’s meaningless red line without hesitation. Idle threats are gone; Trump’s America will act.

Only a risen savior can battle rising evil

Only a risen savior can battle rising evil

We can search the planet, ask every philosopher, sample every painkiller, but filling our inner barrenness with things of this world only plays the Devil’s game. It’s a futile quest. It’s not that evil is getting stronger, but we are getting weaker because we overlook the only prescription that works. Evil will never go away until Christ returns, but we can stem the tide. And that is the “Good News” of the Gospel: Jesus conquered death on the cross! He is the only Light that makes Darkness flee.

Men in heels destroy women in sports

Men in heels destroy women in sports

Life was much simpler for thousands of years. Humans like all other animals recognized there are two genders, accommodating males and females accordingly. It was no big deal really. Having distinctly different parts actually very obviously different parts, a mutual respect for privacy was a forgone conclusion. Both genders prefer to handle nature’s call privately to the exclusion of the now antiquated term “the opposite sex.” Oddly enough, the Creator instituted binary gender system that served millennia of humankind well has been declared obsolete by a narcissistic generation obsessed with embracing perversion and worshipping self. Can you pick out the dude in the photo?

Russiagate ruse to mask unmasking

Russiagate ruse to mask unmasking

Washington politics seem to be a ceaseless cesspool of incessant conspiracies. Endless accusations and allegations feed myriad little wild fanciful fires smothering the District in speculative smoke. This one colluded with that one and another spied on this other one, but everyone has their own facts and alternative facts. Reality can’t be shared because the concept of truth is hopelessly distorted. Washington has gone MAD (Mutually Assured Deception). Two major conspiracies are currently overflowing Washington propaganda sewers and they are very much connected. But the dung recklessly flung in every direction is exposing a circular firing squad.

Alligators across the aisle

Alligators across the aisle

President Trump released his proposed 2018 budget to cheers and jeers. It’s such an aggressive cost cutting budget literally axing agencies and programs out of existence that it’s not floating but not sinking either. Big government establishment Republicans may be Trump’s main obstacle. The consummate deal maker, Trump knows he will not get everything in his opening bid, but hopefully his stark starting point will still achieve actual year over year spending cuts. As the U.S. national debt tops $20 TRILLION because the last two administrations both doubled the debt, something has to give. And The Donald is probably the only one who can make something give.

Tapped, Tripped, and Trapped

Tapped, Tripped, and Trapped

After President Trump knocked his State of the Union Address out of the park with about 70+% approval across the land, the liberal cabal of press and politicians wasn’t about to let that huge shot of good public relations hang in the media air, so they scrambled to launch anti-Trump quick response #3,642, “Sessions spoke to a Russian.” Despite being a baseless charge, another round of Russian roulette worked to bump Trump’s good story out of the news cycle. Headlines and long knives were all pointed at Attorney General Jeff Sessions for nothing more than doing his job as Senator, but early that Saturday it seemed Trump threw a huge bone into the Democrats’ borscht.

March madness dunks Democrats

March madness dunks Democrats

Kellyanne put her feet on the couch! Paul is concealing the new healthcare bill! Jeff talked to Russians! And Donald doesn’t criticize Putin enough! What are they hiding?! It’s the Russians! The Russians helped Trump win and are running the Republicans! This nonsense is the Democrat anti-Trump strategy. Until Trump won, Democrats loved Russians, especially Soviet ones. So why aren’t Democrats elated to learn Republicans are not hating on their longtime Russian buddies?

Multiculturalism is mega chaos

Multiculturalism is mega chaos

At the campaign style rally in Melbourne, Florida, President Trump thrilled the crowd of enthusiastic supporters, but he also riled the media and progressive elite (as usual). Talking about the surreal problems Europe is having with open borders, he mentioned Germany and something “about last night” in Sweden. Liberal press and pundits spitefully pounced on the remark, gasping “what happened in Sweden last night?” Trump was talking about persistent problems with assimilating Muslim migrants and refugees, but liberals don’t want to discuss those appalling and inescapable problems. So they twisted Trump’s words into a terror attack.

Who will delegitimize who?

Who will delegitimize who?

The battle royal for reality rages on. Is the new Administration stumbling like a chaotic hot mess or running like a well-oiled machine? Will it be the world according to the tedious tired main stream media or the world according to Trump? The vicious virulent anti-Trump media blitzkrieg has been nonstop since long before the inauguration. President Trump hadn’t even replaced the nameplate on the Resolute Desk before hysterical rabid Democrats supported by a hopelessly complicit media were demanding impeachment. Such nonsense may assuage the fevered progressive minds in Washington, but Americans want to give any new president a chance.

Can Republicans be trusted?

Can Republicans be trusted?

No. That’s the short answer. After an incredible White House victory few of them supported, most Republicans still keep President Trump at arm’s length, but they swarm to bask in his electoral sunshine. They have appropriated Trump’s election as validation of the GOP and license to return to business as usual. Before short term political memories and an incompetent media forget, Trump was elected in spite of the GOP. He won the GOP nomination because he was not really a dyed in the wool Republican.

Will media bubble suffocate Democrats?

Will media bubble suffocate Democrats?

In the 1980s & 90s, Dunkin Donuts ran ceaseless commercials with a weary baker rising predawn every day tediously declaring “It’s time to make the donuts.” So too do the Democrats now rise every day monotonously chanting “It’s time to protest Trump.” Intense opposition was to be expected, but Trump’s rapid fire onslaught of executive actions and initiatives has severely startled an already shaken Washington establishment. However, they didn’t count on him being effective, so now they’re in full panic mode and literally hysterical.

Women trade roaring for ranting and cussing

Women trade roaring for ranting and cussing

With Trump barely 24 hours in office, panic, paranoia, and pandemonium were on full display in something called the Women’s March on Washington. God help you if you were there, but even if you watched any of it, it was still disturbing and incoherent. Watch any clip and you will feel like showering and washing someone’s mouth out with soap. Pretty much all the speakers were unhinged. Until Obama left office, all was apparently utopia and no reason to worry, but once Trump took the oath the protesters swore, and they swore a lot, that America had descended into a frightening chasm of overwhelming oppression and tyranny.

Trump puts Americans first!

Trump puts Americans first!

Despite persistent wishful thinking, ridiculous scheming, and CNN even giddily postulating that some awful disaster at the inauguration could relieve liberal anxiety with Obama’s “designated survivor” as president, it still happened – Donald J. Trump is now the 45th President of the United States.

A time for Thanksgiving and therapy

A time for Thanksgiving and therapy

Despite acute election exhaustion, we seem to have an election that just keeps on giving. For about half the country, the election was a much needed catharsis, but the other half was left abjectly apoplectic. Americans are generally sportsmen, so we compete fiercely; but when the contest is over, we shake hands and move on. Sadly, the media and some snowflakes are addicted to the turmoil and therefore determined to drag out the drama. No one expects liberals to roll over and become conservative, but a degree of decorum and civility is essential to preserving a peaceful transition of power.

We are here! We are here!

We are here! We are here!

A total surprise to press and pundits, the decisive Trump win is still reverberating from sea to shining sea. Following the Clinton Campaign playbook, the media promulgated pervasive propaganda utterly demonizing Trump. Anyone who supported Trump was thoroughly castigated as the most hateful, ignorant, racist, and every other derogatory demonstrative, so the media convinced themselves and most liberals that the “deplorables” could only be a tiny lunatic fringe. Pollsters avoided them. The press ignored them. Overflow rallies were dismissed. Those Americans didn’t exist to the. Like Horton hearing a “Who,” only Donald Trump heard average Americans clamoring to be heard. “We are here!”

Beginning of the end or another chance?

Beginning of the end or another chance?

If you are reading this, the election is over. Whoever you supported, you are probably either elated or in the depths of despair looking for a new country or restocking prepper supplies. But whatever the outcome, God ordained it and we definitely deserve it. Our presidential choices presented starkly different paths, but with Clinton the work is done and with Trump it’s only just begun. But the people must engage and hold our political leaders accountable, or we will continue to sink in the same cesspool.

Another time for choosing

Another time for choosing

Other than 1964 and 1980, Americans have not really been afforded times for choosing. Even 2008 presented no real choice; sprint into ever expanding government socialism with Obama or limp in to it a bit more gingerly with McCain. 2016 is vastly different mostly because Republicans lost control of their primary; the Democrats only narrowly avoided that fate with their superior voter manipulation skills. But this election there are clear choices for America! It’s not hard to see; Americans can feel it.

The Great American Scam

The Great American Scam

Americans are worried. We have always been worried about our country because freedom is precious, but there is palpable panic sweeping the nation. Democracy is inherently fragile, so Americans have always been vigilant about freedom. Doubt abides perpetually, but the idea that we could lose our republic is unthinkable. Has the unthinkable crept upon America incrementally? Benjamin Franklin when queried after the Constitutional Convention, “what have you given us?” Answered curtly, “A republic if you can keep it.” Have we lost our republic?

The Wuthering Heights of Hypocrisy

The Wuthering Heights of Hypocrisy

Uncouth “locker room” talk is simply indefensible. It’s always inappropriate especially in public and even when a private conversation is revealed; it’s still inappropriate. Whether lewd comments or gossip, when exposed any person with a modicum of decency can only apologize and repent. Who can honestly claim they have never said anything they regret? Donald Trump has apologized, but finds no hint of forgiveness from the main stream media. The media’s intransigence might be understandable if their standards and treatment were equitable to all public figures.

Good or bad, strength matters in leadership

Good or bad, strength matters in leadership

What is a leader? What is a peacemaker? Apparently, the Clinton campaign and Norwegian Nobel Committee are easily confused. The Clinton campaign seems stunned to hear Obama is a weak leader when the Nobel knuckleheads had such high hopes he would part the waters and pacify the planet, they awarded Obama the 2009 Nobel Peace prize before he could really start destabilizing the international order. As the Clinton campaign continues feigning indignation trying mostly in vain to whip hysteria over Trump’s statements that Putin is a “strong” leader and a “better” leader than Obama, it’s perhaps a unique opportunity to revisit Obama’s abject failure as a peacemaker and leader.

In a media far far away

In a media far far away

Some 84 million Americans tuned in to the first presidential debate of 2016. Like a main event at World Wide Wresting, “The Donald” hailing from New York and “Hillary the Bimbo Terminator” hailing from Chicago or Little Rock or maybe New York entertained and provided ample controversy. As always, people see what they want to see. Both sides as expected claimed victory; Clinton supporters groaned about the brash Trump and Trump supporters griped about the arrogant Clinton. But who really won or at least scored points with voters? Certain Clinton won, the media quite frankly didn’t give a damn about what the people thought.

The road to Utopia

The road to Utopia

What a week! Islamist terror attacks across America, racial tensions boiling over with more police involved shootings, riots in another major American city only quelled by military troops in the streets. Is this the new normal in post-racial America?! Hopefully not, but it’s the legacy of President Barack Hussein Obama. Obama highlighted the tragic irony of his failed presidency at his last United Nations appearance where he said: “Over the past 25 years we have become safer and more prosperous.”

Like rabbits, Lies always multiply

Like rabbits, Lies always multiply

Americans have come to expect politicians will be regularly evasive and perhaps a bit loose the facts. The really disturbing development is too many politicians are simply abandoning the concept of truth altogether. To them, reality is whatever they say it is. Bill Clinton didn’t earn the moniker “Slick Willie” for nothing, but “Slick Willie” is a mere piker compared to his partner in crime that sometimes plays his wife on TV. Will Americans vote for a congenital liar?

Standing or sitting reflects on you

Standing or sitting reflects on you

About 202 years ago, a young lawyer watching a pitched battle rage through the night was inspired to pen an uplifting and eventually important poem. The War of 1812 hit home when the British burned Washington and then Royal Navy ships attempted to conquer Baltimore. “The Defense of Fort McHenry” was written 14 September 1814 from the deck of a ship. An immediate sensation, it was published in newspapers and pamphlets across the fledgling nation. Most people know this poem written by Francis Scott Key as a song later called “The Star Spangled Banner.”

Fantasy news and polls

Fantasy news and polls

Fantasy football has gained substantial popularity especially with technological advances, but the core attraction is the opportunity to prove one’s sports acumen by picking who plays what and how. It’s a manipulation of facts about real people to produce a desired outcome under fictitious circumstances. Aside from fun, it sounds a lot like modern news reporting. Actually, there is not much news reporting anymore; too much of it particularly nationally is more like news packaging. News always had some sales aspect, but the media no longer reports news – they sell their preferred “narrative.”

Cajun Navy keeps American spirit afloat

Cajun Navy keeps American spirit afloat

Without a named hurricane and quite frankly a presidential election narrative to prop up Democrats and smear Republicans, the media had little interest in the worst natural disaster since Hurricane Sandy. With 13 dead and thousands displaced from their homes, the epic Louisiana floods had trouble just making the news cycles. National media and federal indifference pretty much left the people of Louisiana on their own. They probably prefer it that way; alligator tears from hypocritical outsiders is just annoying. And in hind sight, those gritty hearty souls didn’t really need any help from a far removed federal government – Louisiana has the Cajun Navy!

Racism is racism is racism

Racism is racism is racism

Racism is ugly no matter how you color it. It’s not complicated; any discrimination or hatred based exclusively on race is racism. Contrary to claims by CNN commentator, Dr. Marc Lamont Hill, among other ostensible thinkers, black people can be racist – no group is immune from hatred or stupidity. The tragic Milwaukee riots have exposed Black Lives Matter activists and their supporters as morally bankrupt; they’re frauds manipulating their own communities. Few will state the obvious for undue fear of political correctness and probable vengeful and vitriolic media punishment.

Throwing innocence and youth under the school bus

Throwing innocence and youth under the school bus

Education is essential to development, but too much of education has been sacrificed for enlarged self-esteems, hypersensitive safe spaces, misplaced priorities, and plain political correctness. The emphasis has shifted from what children learn to how they feel. We used to let children be children while they discover and learn. Schools are now steeped in perils for mind, body, and spirit. Despite a plethora of kooky ideas for education, educators still thankfully oppose drug use and discourage violence, but modern approaches to sex education are troublesome.

Denial is a river flooding Europe

Denial is a river flooding Europe

While struggling with stumbling socialism and their super state (the European Union), the serenity of the supposedly most enlightened societies was shattered and splattered by radical Islamist terrorism. Stunned like deer in the headlights, Europeans are scared not of the world but in their own homes from the cities to the tiniest village. Europe is not safe, not anywhere. Forfeiting security for some multicultural myth, they’re importing an incompatible culture that will eventually rise up, overcome them, and eradicate any vestiges of anything European. Europe will have purchased its own extinction.

Donkeys displaying Democrat disunity

Donkeys displaying Democrat disunity

After a too long primary, any political convention is hard to watch unless you’re a diehard partisan or hardcore political junkie and even then it still seems masochistic. The contrasts between the two conventions are stark. Republicans plainly listed problems plaguing America; and Trump stood resolute to declare we can make America great again. Juxtapose RNC decisiveness and determination with the DNC’s contradictory message that Hillary will build on Obama’s successful socialist utopia except that your life sucks so badly after 8 years of his leadership you need even more BIG government to give you any hope.

Mend it or end it

Mend it or end it

With over a year invested or lost in a bruising simply too long primary election, the people are desperate for it to be over. But some folks just can’t let it go. Like demanding endless recounts, some get stuck in a moment in time, but some of these good people are adamant none of us move on. The politicians, press, pundits, and card carrying delegates in Cleveland were all up in the supposed Republican convention high drama, but few outside those esteemed circles really give a flying elephant.

When people do too little, police must do too much

When people do too little, police must do too much

Americans had almost resigned themselves to inevitable daily doses of murder and mayhem. But just when senseless violence was becoming routine, America was jolted by the ruthless assassination of five Dallas Police officers on the heels of police officer involved shooting deaths in Louisiana and Minnesota. These tragic events have stirred intense debate across all media but with little consensus. Despite President Obama’s wishful thinking that “we’re not as divided as we seem,” a recent NYT/CBS poll found 69% of Americans rate race relations as “bad.” When we can’t even agree “all lives matter,” the divide is a chasm.

Truth died, Justice denied, Hillary lied

Truth died, Justice denied, Hillary lied

Surprise! Hillary Clinton will not be charged for mishandling “highly sensitive classified” government information. Is anyone really surprised? Did anyone actually expect a Democrat administration to indict the Democrat presidential nominee in an election year? FBI Director James Comey was given an impossible task: conduct a thorough unbiased investigation but be sure it’s not political in anyway. Any indictment would be enormously political because the FBI would have in effect disqualified the Democrat candidate; and perhaps they did anyway.

Court advances abortion at any cost

Court advances abortion at any cost

The Supreme Court abandoned its role of judicial review in accordance with the Constitution to usurp state power and advance an atrocious activity it considers vital to a progressive society. Liberal justices like for women to have the ability to legally slay their children, so they can pretend to have some vague hedonistic reproductive equality with men. So the Court struck down a Texas law requiring prevailing healthcare standards for abortion mills.

BREXIT stage right!

BREXIT stage right!

Despite all the gnashing of globalist teeth and wailing by financial markets, England may have just saved Europe from itself again. Europe has nagging habit of dictators trying to conquer and rule the continent. Having none of that, Great Britain has a long record of restoring order on the continent amid all manner of nonsense. Thank God Brits realized their sovereignty was worth fighting for and they reclaimed their independence.

Are LGBT going Tea Party?

Are LGBT going Tea Party?

The Orlando massacre was a heinous horrific crime against humanity. An Islamist terrorist may have targeted gay Americans, but he attacked us all. This is a hate crime in that the killer loathed his victims, but Americans cannot escape the facts of another glaring case of a rabid political movement cloaked in religiosity attacking our American way of life. The entire nation is in shock, but as the LGBT community buries the dead they face a dire dichotomy.

Bilderberg, Brexit, and Bombs

Bilderberg, Brexit, and Bombs

Since 1954, the mysterious and vaunted Bilderberg group meets annually in some posh resort setting the world abuzz with wild conjecture and wooly conspiracy theories. A meeting of the richest bankers, industrialists, politicians, and assorted visionaries is certainly intriguing; many speculate they run the world. Bilderbergers admittedly seek a “single community;” is that a new world order? Will the referendum on the “British Exit” (Brexit) from the EU may be the first domino to fall?

America’s last truly tough decision

America’s last truly tough decision

Swept into office on great expectations for “hope and change,” President Obama promised a better America and a better world. He would restore America’s reputation; he would make the world like us again. He went abroad apologizing everywhere. Intent on humbling America, Obama made it clear he thinks the world’s ills are largely caused by a fatally flawed super power. The world may have problems with America, but it’s Obama who disrespects our heritage and disdains our super power status.

Liberty and guns demand morality and self-control

Liberty and guns demand morality and self-control

The media manufactured anti-gun echo chamber booms incessantly with nonsensical hyperbole about how dangerous guns are and how inherently evil any gun owner must be. The press and leftist politicians are desperate to create the appearance that public opinion is turning against private gun ownership.

Government knows best

Government knows best

Some 50+ years ago, we had a bold president promise to put a man on the moon, but now we have a brazen president threaten to put a man in the girls’ bathroom. Back then, “Father knows best” was a popular TV show; now Americans are being forced to accept government knows best. When the federal government declared they could dictate what light bulbs you could buy and then mandate what health insurance you must buy, we should’ve known it will never stop. It hasn’t and it won’t.

Greece the skids for Puerto Rico?

Greece the skids for Puerto Rico?

While young Americans are going gaga for Bernie and Democrats in general are openly and heartily embracing socialism, victims of this misguided economic philosophy are rapidly deteriorating. A western hemisphere basket case is quietly unraveling and its part of America; Puerto Rico is on the brink of bankruptcy. Mired in deep recession, Puerto Rico’s economy has contracted every year save one since 2006; that’s really more of a depression. But Congress is looking to follow the catastrophic Greek model.

Hostage crisis inverted

Hostage crisis inverted

And then there was one. In a surprising twist, Trump trounced Ted Cruz at his Hoosier firewall. The pundits that have been wrong about a year now resolutely prognosticated the Indiana primary would be a real test for The Donald. Oops, Trump slam dunked the Hoosier primary. So all that vitriolic banter should be over now. Republicans will unite behind the presumptive nominee to put a Republican in the White House – right?

Coloring inside or outside the lines; lines matter

Coloring inside or outside the lines; lines matter

The raging debate about nature’s call has become anything but natural. Diving into bathroom etiquette quickly went from silly to absurd; all sides are guilty. It’s not really about “where to pee or not to pee;” it’s about society and our capacity for self-governance, or not.

The great American anxiety attack

The great American anxiety attack

America is on edge. Just when you think things can’t get worse. It gets unimaginably worse. America has been in varying stages of anxiety since the Vietnam War, but the past decade or so seems more intense. It’s as if backwards is forwards, right is wrong, wrong is right, and the nation is tilting badly, but government and media keep pushing harder hoping to make everything upside down. Sure, havoc sells news and gives government a purpose, but why this penchant for instability?

Should we just Finnish off America?

Should we just Finnish off America?

As each socialist experiment makes its way to the ash heap of history, leftists incessantly scream the same old song that socialism will work if only implemented by the right people. Scandinavian socialism is often touted as the shining example. Even Hillary Clinton admitted America is not Denmark to debunk Bernie Sanders’ promises of free everything. Supposedly Finland is a model America should and can emulate; and that capitalism and socialism are like peanut butter and jelly. But is that true?

From XX and XY to XYZ and who knows what else

From XX and XY to XYZ and who knows what else

Sexual perversion is not new. From ancient times pagans incorporated deviant sex into customs and rituals. Every culture knows it and many succumb to the deleterious effects of unbridled immorality. The 1960s sexual revolution was epitomized by “if it feels good, do it.” The sexual revolution or destruction of morality is far from over. The “trans-gender” rights crusade is just heating up.

Sleazy Home Alabama exposes all

Sleazy Home Alabama exposes all

Leaping to the national stage, Alabama Governor Robert Bentley becomes a reality show star for sleazy slimy and yes sleazy again politicians. The salacious details need not be recounted, but the Luv-Guv has cast a whole new dimension of creepiness. Bentley cannot see he has become a huge detriment to the state and failed his family. If Bentley has any shred of decency left, he should resign immediately!

Affection and appeasement for America’s enemies absent accountability

Affection and appeasement for America’s enemies absent accountability

Obama’s leading from behind approach is a far cry from Theodore Roosevelt’s assertive policies; Roosevelt wanted all to recognize American might to dissuade any would be aggressors. His foreign policy was captured in his quip: “Speak softly but carry a big stick.” Obama only speaks softly if he speaks at all and carries nothing more than carrot sticks. It became inescapable when Raul Castro was holding Obama’s arm in Cuba while Brussels burned - Obama’s limp wristed foreign policy is failing miserably.

Only the power that raised His Son Can restore our republic

Only the power that raised His Son Can restore our republic

Despite slipping standards of living, unprecedented across the board affluence and yet untold modern conveniences have made Americans apathetic and passive about freedom and God. Sadly, many readers may be puzzled by connecting the two. It’s worth repeating but distressing that we must: “the cornerstone of American freedom is that God created us to be free and no man or government can interfere with that birthright.” However, freedom like salvation, if we fail to claim it, what good is it?

Decades of leftist education finally bearing Bernie fruit

Decades of leftist education finally bearing Bernie fruit

Popular perceptions hold that youth are obsessed with entertainment and technology and therefore apathetic toward adult endeavors like building a family, buying a house, or politics. That may or may not be, but it appears millennials have finally found something they like in politics – socialism as embodied by Bernie Sanders.

Super Tuesday spawns super temper tantrums

Super Tuesday spawns super temper tantrums

Super Tuesday did not disappoint. It certainly heightened drama, peaked voter participation, and focused animosities in an already contentious primary season. As the competition intensifies, the attacks get sharper but sadly not smarter.

Will GOP establishment be on or under the Trump train?

Will GOP establishment be on or under the Trump train?

After the tumultuous Obama years, surely the GOP establishment would have a clear path to restore Republican aristocracy and all will be well in the land again. Well, first some frogs showed up to the coronation balls with no hope of getting elite kisses; and then the conservative grassroots the GOP had forsaken returned with pitchforks and torches demanding the halls of power be swept clean.

Don’t let Court go over leftward cliff

Don’t let Court go over leftward cliff

The unexpected passing of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia was a tremendous loss for America, especially our Constitutional republic. He sincerely believed and fiercely defended the founders’ original intent of our Constitution to preserve the natural rights of man and protect them from an overreaching government.

No Ding-Dong until the witch is dead

No Ding-Dong until the witch is dead

Who is afraid of Hillary Clinton? Well, after Bill pretty much everyone. Having extorted or raised over $3 Billion dollars over 40+ years according to the Washington Post, the Clinton crime family (Rush Limbaugh’s term of endearment) and charitable foundation is very powerful.

Are Third Party Candiates Winning?

Are Third Party Candiates Winning?

Americans are simply fed up! Fed up with a snarky duplicitous media. Fed up with unresponsive government. Fed up with a disconnected ruling class. Fed up with mealy mouth self-serving politicians. And for that matter, fed up with both major political parties.

Mayday! Stand Down?

Mayday! Stand Down?

Appalled by recent images of American Sailors held like hostages by the Iranian Navy, Americans are bewildered. What happened to the world’s mightiest military? Why didn’t they resist? Why weren’t they rescued? Where is all that international respect President Obama was crowing about?

Muslims Gone Wild!

Muslims Gone Wild!

Europe rang in the New Year with an unexpected sort of bang. New Year’s revelers streamed into street parties in cities across Europe, but lecherous vile predators awaited dozens of defenseless European women.

2016 off to precarious but predictable start

2016 off to precarious but predictable start

Last year was just plain weird, Vanity Fair named a man “Woman of the Year,” John Kerry’s State Department claimed to have brought peace to Syria, and a Republican Congress passed the Democrat’s agenda in yet another objectionable omnibus funding bill. Didn’t the bearded Boehner promise to stop that nonsense?

Americans believe in Christmas, But do we believe Christ?

Americans believe in Christmas, But do we believe Christ?

For some years now, one of the biggest battles in the Political Correctness wars has been the assault on Christmas. Some states and cities under pressure removed nativity scenes, some schools banned or limited sacred music, and some retailers warned against simply wishing customers Merry Christmas

Voters Fed Up with GOP Gripped with Fear

Voters Fed Up with GOP Gripped with Fear

GOP leadership cowers in sheer terror of the media and bad press. They are not afraid of Obamacare, out of control spending, Planned Parenthood slaughtering and harvesting babies, illegal immigration, open borders, and even potential terror from sketchy refugees.

Paris tragedy followed by Paris travesty

Paris tragedy followed by Paris travesty

Breathtaking! Mystifying! Stupefying! It’s the greatest show on earth playing in Paris. Pseudo-scientists perform impossible feats of data manipulation. Politicians perform unbelievable contortions of truth.

Refugees in Paris highlight clash of cultures

Refugees in Paris highlight clash of cultures

Over two thirds of Americans oppose resettling Syrian refugees here and over half of governors said they will refuse refugees. Despite overwhelming popular opposition and even a bipartisan Congressional effort to defund resettlement, President Obama vows to bring more Muslim refugees to America.

Coddled generation turns on coddlers

Coddled generation turns on coddlers

It is probably only a virulent vocal minority on college campuses, but helpless victimhood is the prevailing culture promulgated by retread hippie professors. Modern campuses are so insulated from the real world and saturated with superficial silliness that students go in to septic shock when they get a glimpse of plain reality.

Thanksgiving is Also a Time for Prayer

Thanksgiving is Also a Time for Prayer

Thanksgiving is the first uniquely American holiday. The first most notable Thanksgiving was celebrated almost 400 years ago when Plymouth pilgrims finally had a bountiful harvest in 1621 and invited local Indian friends to feast and give thanks to God for their abundance

Superman would be disappointed

Superman would be disappointed

Americans are fascinated with super heroes. Superman is one of the especially American all-time greats. Generations grew up on Superman in comics and on TV; and thanks to movie remakes about every decade all generations have been exposed to Superman.
